I have a great interest in the Outlaw. My interest is in letting potential purchasers know what they are getting. Read back through all the threads here and what I've attempted to do is explain why these guns are junk (an opinion shared by others) and while they might have an amusement factor are not particularly well made guns.
What is also clear from your own posts is that you have an interest in owning one or have one already. Great. Enjoy.
Now you are a moderator, albeit not in this forum, and as such can conspire with your colleagues to infract me if you so choose for my remarks in this thread.
But consider all the posts, in context, and some of the remarks directed toward me and others who just aren't all wide-eyed and slobbering over the Norinco POS.

I hear the next model will have a slightly longer barrel and will be called the POSse!![]()
Chinese guns have improved a lot in the last decade.
When they first started civilian guns, the quality was everywhere. Their CQ rifle (M16) even used paint on aluminum. No question that some factories made horrible guns.
Now, as we saw on 1911s, they know their business much better. From the pictures posted, I can't see any thing wrong, and nobody reports quality problem yet. Only complain is the challenge of put it back together. To which I say the solution is "Don't take it apart".
Well, uh, thanks but while that's very sweet of you but unless you're a woman (preferably with nice jugs) I'll pass.i love the last paragraph, do you need a![]()
Question for the SxS connoisseurs .....
Can these guns be improved by a descent smith?
and once again....
What are your opinions of the single shot design?
I like the single shot for a nice thin, short, light hiking gun.....
Have to agree with the POS opinions. I've always said Chinese guns ( and everything else they make ) are junk. They are cheap though and yeah, you can still have fun with it but it's like that old saying...." scooters are like fat chicks, I'll ride one but I wont tell my friends about it ". It bugs me more when people defend Norc 1911's, like they're something special.
In the end though, a firearm is still a firearm and we are all in this together !

So what? The last time I checked I wasn't going to be putting my computer a few inches from my face and letting go with 10 to 12 thousand pounds psi of pressure.oh and that computer you are using has most of its parts made in China...........so go back to your pen and paper.
You should maybe ask Gunner over at Armco how he feels about the Norc 1911's!??
I am quite sure you have never even used one..........oh and that computer you are using has most of its parts made in China...........so go back to your pen and paper.
