It's very nice and touching to see two of you report "dangerous gun" - simply based on the fact you don't like it.

And I can see claybuster created a safety argument simply because he don't even know if there is a proof standard. Then he "assumed" gun maker doesn't have one, because the firearm dealer didn't answer it on board on Sat morning.

The fact is, Marstar has had them in Canada for 10 years.

So, stop harassing other gun owners and firearm dealers, go away!
I'm not harassing anyone, nor have I used the world "dangerous" with regard to these guns. I am asking questions about the status of proof testing of firearms in China. I didn't assume anything and am keen to know more about the process if there is one. That's why I asked.

Certainly if one asked about the proof testing of guns anywhere else in the world no doubt someone on CGN could provide an answer in short order. So far nothing on how guns in China are proof tested or even if they are.

China currently is not held in the highest regard with respect to product safety standards whether it is children's toys, milk or pet food. Why should guns be any different no matter how long anyone has been selling them? In the CIP countries, each firearm goes through a rigourous testing process. Wouldn't an informed buyer want to know if the Chinese hold their guns to the same standard or even any standard at all?

take a pill guys!!! if u like them OK if not OK, this two bit #####ing gets us nowhere. Its just a gun. Some are better some are not. I will shoot the one I got well before some otheres I own. Look for something good to say or say nothing,(remember what Mom said) Lets move on here.Aj

Yes you are. We saw what you said to Bobby Ironsights. You own Bobby Ironsights, a fella firearm owner, an apology.
Did you mean I owe him an apology or do you you think I "own" him as in:

:owned:

Bobby's a big boy. He doesn't need you to fight his battles. And based on some of your posts in this thread and others I don't believe you are in much of a position to be giving anyone lessons on appropriate behavior.

FYI, Chinese guns have been sold to European countries for decades. So, Chinese guns are "therefore approved for sale in Europe where proof standards are very high".
This is wrong. No "guns" are approved unilaterally. Each gun, every individual one, whether domestic or imported must pass CIP approved proof before it can be sold in a CIP member country.

Out of interest how many gun shops in European countries have you been in? See any Norincos sxs shotguns? I have been in gun shops in France, Germany, Spain and the U.K. and haven't seen any but perhaps I hang out in better shops.

I just want to say this, thanks for completely hijacking and ruining this thread.

It's a $300.00 gun!!

Jezuz, what's with the rampant buzz killing and product bashing I've been seeing on so many threads lately? To celebrate the level of crap slinging this particular thread has attained, here's something I've done on no other forum before (bad hair day or sumfink I guess) ... I'm actually letting the ignorees know who they are....

This message is hidden because Claybuster is on your ignore list.

Enjoy it fellas...you really earned it here.

I'm with Harve.
Why would anyone care what someone else spends thier hard earned cash on? Especially a cheap gun made solely for looks and entertainment. I ordered one and can't wait for it to get here. I started to read this thread to see how excited guys were when thier guns arrived, but this is the last time I will visit this thread. I can't take any more bashing from you know who, without saying something. My mother told me if you can't say something nice be quiet. So I'm outta here. I hope a new thread pops up from the guys who have actually had their hands on one of these guns and the owners can swap USEFUL comments and info.

ISnt Michael Sabre the guy that started a thread named: WHO NEEDS A GUNSMITH? He's got a lot of lesson to give us all, starting by how to lighten a trigger on a norinco by BENDING metal...

Closed as the signal:noise is way too low.

There is nothing wrong with healthy debate, and everyone is entitled to their opinions.

However, stay on topic and take the personal banter to PM.

Thanks,

Brad.
