Ruger Mark III 22/45. Stainless with 5 1/2 inch barrel. I will post pics when it arrives.

I ordered from wholesale sports online. I am assuming they will get the temporary ATT to mail it? I am in NL, they are in Winnipeg.

How long does it take to get a long term ATT? Can I start the process before the gun (or any restricted for that matter) has been registered to me?

Do any of the sponsors sell magazines, speed loaders etc for the Rugers?

If the package is delivered to your door, no STATT needed (obviously). However, the CFO says that if you have to go pick up the package at the post office, you need to call them for a STATT. Some here will argue that this is not necessary because legally it's just a piece of mail until it's opened. Grey area. Just an FYI, do whatever you feel is right.

I think the process is a bit different in each province for an LTATT... At least, it was when I moved from ON to BC. But as far as I know, in all provinces you must have the restricted firearm in your possession (or at least registered in your name) and a valid club membership before you can send in the form.

In Alberta you get the LTATT when you go to complete the registration and if it is your first they require proof of club membership. As stated above it varys by province. In Ontario your club applies on your behalf.

The form can be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to you from CFC.Yes you can apply before your pistol arrives, you must have membership at your local club. You will need a photocopy of your membership card attached to your application(second page). If you have a reference # for said pistol write it down on the front of the application(first page, anywhere on top) e.g. RE: Ref # 123456, this gives priority to your application. Just sign and date the third page. They are picky about leaving blanks so put a line through info that is N/A Your LATT is good for 5 years.

I notice that G P is in St. John's. The only relevant information is that related to Newfoundland.
G P - call your CFO for information about an ATT.
