Just ordered my new Fulton Armory receiver

I just talked to my gunsmith here and will start working on my TRW-LRB swap. Thanks to all, especially M14Doctor, for your help.

The LRB is my choice, as this will be a lengthy, money-consuming process. I have also been snubbed by Fulton Armory, so that helps the LRB choice.
 
Seems to me that when the anybody gets a contract with the gov't there stuff goes way up price and they stop caring about or don't have time for the little guy.

unfortunately fulton has a long history of snubbing canadians.... nuthin new...... i guess they got enough money , they don't want our orders...... we'll see if they start getting hungry for the higher value canadian dollar soon , fulton could do good business if they were to change thier policy and anti canadian sentiment.

I had a chance to disassemble and look over Fulton Armory F01321 last weekend. I posted my review of it elsewhere. Overall, I gave it a thumbs up. It was assembled with a USGI chromium plated Springfield Armory M14 barrel. Unfortunately, the owner and I did not have time available to check the headspace. He had just received it from Fulton Armory and had the shipping box with him. I'm confident the headspace was good to go for NATO or SAAMI ammunition. Do you have a commercial short chambered barrel for your receiver?

Right now I have nothing but the receiver. Next on the list are a bolt and barrel. I will probably pick up a short chambered Krieger when I have the money. This project will probably take me a year as I purchase the parts as $$ permit.
