I just passed my rpal,my pal was coming up for renewal so I figured I might as well upgrade while I'm at it.I'm interested in cowboy type revolvers(i'm going to get into cowboy shooting comps) so...

Is there a list of particular guns or calibre's that are allowed for cowboy shoots?

What's a rough price range for these types of handguns?

Where are some of the better places to purchase these guns?

My local gun shops have poor selection when it comes to handguns,mostly automatics which I'm not really interested in.Thanks

I'm no cowboy but I would love to have a Ruger New Vaquero in .45 colt. There is one at my local gun shop and it looks like so much fun. It comes with plastic grips, which would be replaced by wood ones about 10 minutes after I got it home.

Is there any cowboy action shooting in Quebec? I would like to watch some competition and join later. Where are the affiliated clubs?
