I just passed my rpal last night. Now comes the hardest part... waiting. But it still probably isn't enough time to make up my mind. I wasn't all that interested in revolvers before the course, but since I have handled a couple there may be some room in my safe for some. :dancingbanana:

hmmm....... what should I save up for?

Congrats!

I say go to the range and fondle as many different guns as you can. If you ask nicely 99% of people have no problem talking for a minute or two about what they like and what they don't like about their guns.

Congratulations!!! Go to a range with a few friends and fire a few different guns and find one you like.
Sigs
1911’s
CZ75’s
All good pistols
Glocks are good but I’m not a fan.
But get a pistol that accessories (mags, holsters, ect) are readily available. Get it in calibre that you like and you can afford to shoot alot of.
My 2 cents

You will eventually buy a 1911 in .45 acp

If you can afford to buy one and feed it, you might as well buy that first. The same holds true for a 686 or 629 revolver.

Welcome to the club. I mailed my RPAL application o nthe 16th of Sept. They called both my refrences yesterday, so hopefully, I'll get mine in short order.
