just picked up a .338 lapua

Juust picked up a H.S. HTR in ..338 lapua hope to have it out to the range this weekend to try it out.Anyone else out there shooting this particular rifle?Could use some feedback as to what loads this rifle might like as well as to what to expect as far as performance at different ranges I plan on shooting out to 1200 m +

That rifle needs hand loads!!!! Try the 250 and 300 Sierra Match kings, and two other great bullets are the 250 and 300 Lapua Scenars!!! stay with H1000 and retumbo and you can't go wrong!!!

Which range are you going to???

No range close by that offers anything past 200 m so I have selected a open cutline that will offer up to 2000 m of safe shooting with a river bank as a stop.
