Just picked up my First Handgun and its not a norinco

Yes!
It was on my list and has been crossed off.
mags are hard to come by and $$$$
3.0gr w231 with precision delta bullets I was at 3.1gr but after a ransom rest test 3.0gr pulled the group in by 2-3" at 50m

You will love it and watch that trigger there soft

The cool thing about a load like the one above is that it'll let you dot I's at 25m AND you'll get 2300 of them from a pound of powder, 1,000 brass will last 10 years, and your biggest expenses are primers and bullets. :D You're under $150/1,000 for ammo that Winchester will charge you $45/50 for

I got crazy for NRA bullseye shooting in 1985 and shot lots of rimfire. Then I tried my first S&W 52. It cloverleafed 3 out of the string of 5 at 10 yards... UGG. It was love.
You got to learn to shoot it one handed, traditional one hand in pocket doing a jewel check.

Do not get frustrated over your first loads. There is a knack to it. Once you find it... your
powder charge will make the wadcutter cut the same hole over and over. When you see that first hole appear ....big as an apple on the paper and then your second round makes the first hole just a little bigger... Wow!! Congrats... Big Smile!

Thats right ian in vic powder goes a long way I use that same load in my charlton custom. I got a 4lber that should last me awhile.

if i could figure out how to get a pic on this dam thing i would post a target out of the rest

when you load make sure no lead is sticking out of the case they fit the best in the mags and seem to feed well for me.
another thing i found is it helps if you tumble after loading to have clean cases no lube left on there.

what kind of shooting are you doing with it? or want to do with it?
