You might not have to for much longer. With the new TNW Survival Rifle coming shortly at a very competitive price, prices could very well be driven down by the competition. There'll be (3) almost identical looking carbines on the market that will all be going for the same customer.
I kind of wish someone would build a conventional stocked rifle that took 1911 or Glock mags. These AR looking contraptions are f-ugly to say the least. It'll be a lesser of 3-evils if I buy one of these.
