Hey, Im Steve, 20, from Regina. I got my non-restricted and restricted PAL about a year ago. Right now I currently own an old Savage 7C single shot .22 that I have been restoring, a model 11 Savage .243 which is going to be set up as a coyote rig, and last but not least, my favourite gun, a Savage Model 93r17 in .17HMR with a heavy barrel which is currently awaiting the arrival of a new Boyds tactical stock.
I am also looking to pick up a .300WSM later this summer to use as my hunting rifle. Last year I was shooting my stepdads .300WM Browning A-bolt during hunting season. He currently shoots a Browning A-bolt 300WSM.
I don't know why everything I own so far is Savage, kind of just ended up that way I guess. The .300 is probably going to be a Savage as well, looking at their long range hunter Model. If I decide against that I am going to go with a Browning X-bolt or a Remington 700.
Other than rifles, I love the outdoors in general: hunting, fishing, camping, quading, dirtbiking, boating, anything outdoors really. I also enjoy basically anything with a motor, metal fab, woodwork, and I want to get into photography. I currently work as a welder during the summer, but come fall I am back to school again to keep pluggin away at my business degree.
