dont feel so bad, i was doing the same thing, making brass for the 8 mm krop. was cold as hell out, so i decided to just poke the bbl out the door of the shop, pointed skywards, and pull the trigger.

I've never heard it called it creme of wheat. But I do remember it got all over the place. It was alot of fun, but boy, was I out of breath even though it didn't take very long. I tried to be quiet, but it was louder than usual. I tried all kinds of things to close off the end, but I ended up settling on Kleenex. That stuff works for everything. I haven't really shot enough to need a bucket, although you obviously need something to contain the whole load. One thing I learned is even if you're just shooting blanks, you should always be careful where you point that thing. Say, have you ever shot 'creme of wheat' through the ceiling instead of the slate floor?
