a 16" L1A1 came up on Trademe ( NZ Ebay ) with full DSA quadrail and dustcover .. im ridiculously tempted to buy it after watching the following video

The first firearm I buy when I eventually get a second piece of land in the USA will be a FAL.

I know someone's inbound to talk about how they hated their C1 when they served, and I get that... but I think it's just about the finest battle implement ever devised.

I would buy one of the DSA models in a heartbeat. The FAL is easy one of my favorite firearms of all time. That and the AUG would be my perfect duo.

I don't know much about FAL's but I'd rather have a classic looking one without all the stupid rails and ####.
