Just some shooting ####... Pic warning.

Cant offer AI stocks at this time. Working on Choate for next year - renewal of supply.

Have a look at the LRMOA family of Sightron SIII scopes. They all have exposed turrents which may be more to your liking. Personally, I don't mind putting on caps after a day of shooting. Keeps them from moving while in transit.

Or when sitting in the rack between relays :)

@ Jerry; thank you, I can't tell you how impressed I am with the pod. It's genius. I'm noticing the groups starting to open so we'll talk soon, different throat this time. The 80s are so much easier to load. ;)
The bugs here are impressive :) , in the spring and summer, they'll carry you away.

Thanks all

I assume that you have sent about 300 to 400rds down the bore. If so, you will need to readjust your powder charge. That is common to all barrels and what I consider the true break in of a barrel. Also, temps are falling so look at the primer you are using. reg SR primers may not have enough spark in the colder temps. I use CCI450 to get around having any issues - work all year long.

A bit of load tweaking from season to season and to account for bore changes is normal.

If not, let me know...

seems like while everyone is picking your rig apart, i may as well contribute :)

whats the barrel/contour on that .223? i'm looking for a new barrel, probly looking at a nice ss shillen match

Hey dastt, the barrel on my .223 is a Shillen Select Match, iirc it's a #7HV finished at 28", purchased from Jerry at Mystic Precision.

@Jerry ; I think the stock Monk is looking for is the B&C under my .308, also my round count is closer to 1500 :), all but ~100 rounds are full on quality shots. What can I say, I like to shoot!! Some weekends I'll go both days. I didn't start precision shooting until 2 years ago so I've got a lot of time to make up for, one day I'd like to be good at it ;).

FYI, I'm down to 3 loads depending on ambient etc. Next time I go out I'm trying my max load, and I'm really looking forward to it. Anyways, 1500 very warm rounds might be it, it's barrel time. :)

Hey Paul,
Still no Glass, I am saving pennies, but it goes slowly. I also took some time off, totalled the Jeep, hit a bull in Merritt, BC. But my wife had good insurance, so she got new one, with navigation :)
Just got new Redding competition dies and working towards reloading too. I need a second job.....
We should go after Christmas, before the new year, I can't wait.
Chhers

Hey Thomas, too bad about the Jeep but glad you're ok.
Yes, we can go up there between Christmas and new years. Give me a call or message me after the 26th.
Where did you get the dies?

Cheers
Paul
