Hey Guys/Gals,

I recently just received my JustRight Carbine 45acp. Upon inspection, I've noticed the barrel has a what can only be described as a wobble to it. Now I've emailed JustRight inquiring about this (whether it was normal) and 1 week later, no reply. So I turn to you knowledgeable bunch hoping someone out there can enlighten me on this.
I removed the hand-guard to check the barrel nut for looseness and it seems tight. I should also note that its not a back and forth wobble but more of a side to side thing. Perplexing, but maybe its just the design of the gun. Any who, anyone who can shed some light on this would forever be in my debt :)

Thanks for any responses!

Seems odd....I have the 9mm version and there is no wobble of any kind - the barrel is solidly held in place. I would think that a wobble would negatively affect accuracy and would not be normal at all.

Absolutely agree Mantis, thanks for the response first of all. That's what I was thinking also. How can it shoot straight if the barrel moves. I'm going to try and tighten that barrel nut, if that doesn't tighten it up it looks like I'm getting a hold of the shop I bought it from.

Thanks again

Yeah that's what I was hearing but like I stated its been a week and I still haven't received a reply to my email. Maybe they're just busy dealing with wobbly barrels ;). I'll try and tighten it myself, if that doesn't work I'll give them a call.

Thanks laurencen!

mine was feeding issues, agree sending email from the website was slow, I ended up calling the service dept and they got me parts and running great, even followed up to confirm its functioning corectly, could simply be the front nut holding the barrel, there is a tool for that,

OK here's an update to my issue. I just talked to Ryan at SFRC (great guy BTW). Apparently they replace the short quad rail with a full version. Personally I like it better. But he told me they need a shim for the barrel after the new full rail is put on. I guess mine got missed. No big deal to me. They sent out a shipping label right away and I'm sending it back for the shim. Can't wait to get this thing out!

Thanks for the input guys, much appreciated.
