JW-103 in 7.62+39

EL TORRO;
"Do they work with surplus ammo? " OF COURSE....

THE MAN IN BLACK;
"you are they a good value? " They have proven themselves....

EASYRIDER 604;
"Anybody know what kind of accuracy these bolties are capable of, with surplus CZ ammo? Say 200 groups"
I have not, nor has any of our staff, fired 200 groups with one.... As for accuracy how can we answer this, what kind of ammo ? What loads ? How good is the shooter ?

JOHN

What are the specs on these, length, weight, etc... ? I'm wondering if one would be a good deer rifle for a small woman or youth.

John, i am also interested in knowing the accuracy, the question above had all of your questions answered:
What kind of ammo ? CZ surplus
What loads? The CZ surplus Marstar carries
How good is the shooter? The max the rifle is capable of; assume a military sniper

Thanks

John, my typo. Please allow me to rephrase the question.
I meant to ask if you have info or experience shooting the JW 103 at 200 meters.

If so, what size groups did you get? I ask because my 56 Tula SKS and my old lousy eyes have shot a 5" wide x 8" high group at 200 meters. The SKS was benched and sandbagged under the forestock and butt, original iron sights, untouched trigger, bright almost windless day, CZ surplus ammo, white 8.5 x 11 inch white paper target.

If the JW 103 can do a little better, I am certainly interested in getting one.

I just want to know what size groups the JW 103 is capable of, pls specify what kind of ammo (surplus, commercial, reloads), rifle set-up if different from bone-stock, or if the shooter is a bench-rest champion shooter or just the average Joe Blow.

Btw, Just to let you know, the used S&W 586 I bought from you last year is a real nice shooter. Thanks

For anyone who has never had to deal with the Chinese factories, I'll say this much, ignorance is bliss. They have this odd concept of copyrite laws over there and sometimes they'll just decide to "improve" your product by slapping some intellectual property on the box, etc. We had a container of computer hardware we ordered because we liked the sample, well they got held up in customs and we got FINED for not having paid MS to pay for their windows logo that was plastered on 15,000 units of product. The Chinese decided not to even declare it on the manifest or export papers, we were literally stuck with a container of stuff in Canada and a bill for breaking the law.

When Marstar says something like: "We're dealing with the Chinese so I'm giving you no details until I'm holding the product", this is probably the type of scenario he's talking about.

Big thanks to Marstar! You guys are definitely one of the greatest out there! It's so nice to see dealers breaking their chops in order to get Canadian shooters & hunters decent hardware at great prices. You are Wendy's Freddy Kruger! (as in worst "nightmare") :D

No names, but at least one of the competitors (sponsors on this site) also carries these JW-103's (or at least carried, as their stock shows "0") with a noticeably higher price tag. So, I just placed my order for one of the JW-103's with Marstar (of course)... can't hurt to try out that little beast. Plus, if it doesn't suit my needs, I'm sure someone in EE will jump right on it. One simply can't lose on this deal.

I also read some reviews on the net, and for ONCE our American counterparts are jealous of us having access to such decent & inexpensive hardware, lol! They can have AK's... but we can have Norincos. :p

P.S. Congrats on restocking the JW-25A's also. I've been waiting for that one too. I know it must be hell dealing with the Chinese...

;)

I have a JW-103. It's a $275 gun, not a $500 or $750 gun, and you are getting what you pay for. Mine has been reliable and it's pretty accurate, but there are things about it that bug me. The stock is a "Chu Wood" type of wood, and it looks nice, but is very light, very poorly fitted, and poorly inlet - a perfect candidate for bedding. The trigger is adjustable, but only if done with care, as it is somewhat delicate, and the bolt fairly rattles in the receiver. It's a $275 gun.

Many will sniff that they don't buy Commie or don't buy junk, and other people will buy it and then whine incessantly about it, but I'm content that I got what I paid for. Until I can afford a better bolt gun in 7.62x39, it will serve me well.

May be is the same history with Norinco M14?
