hey guys i have a jw15, i believe take off of the model 2 brno!?

i need to put a picatinny on it to review a NV scope with 30mm tube - However i cant find the right picatinny for it.

Ive tried to do a few searches but figure i would post it on CGN for the techxperts to put me on the right track!

is there a Direct fitting Picatinny rail from a BRNO model that fits straight on without drilling etc?

Thanks alot , look forward to getting set straight on this!
lol!

Cheers from AUS!

The easiest option is rimfire to weaver adapter inserts so you can use standard rings.
UTG makes some and there are clones as well on amazon.

If you search for rimfire to weaver adapters you will also see rail options, you might be able to find some shorter segments that would allow you to mount rail sections on either side of the ejection area but the clip on adapters should work well, though to be fair I've mostly used them with smaller red dot sights.

These small sections might work for you and would likely be a bit more secure, might have to let the front one cantilever forward a bit if it's long?

I recently purchased a CZ 452 Farewell Edition. (Made in Czech Republic)
and seeing all the products dance around the 11mm Dovetail that’s what I’ve got.
Purchased a MDT Picatinny 20MOA 11mm dovetail rail. Surprise wtf it don’t fit.
measured across the top if Dovetail 12.7mm top of rail is 12mm.
The size is measured at the bottom of the dovetail.
So go figure what they did to their commemorative rifle of 60 years.
I Googled around and,,,,(seriously they did this after 60 years)
This is a Bud Lite marketing move for rifles.
or HD electric bikes with speakers.

11 mm (https://www.optics-trade.eu/en/mounts/shopby/suitable_for_rails-11_mm_dovetail.html) and 3/8” dovetails are the two most common types of dovetails that you can find on rifles. The 11 mm dovetail represents a standard in Europe, while the 3/8” is a standard in the USA. Some rifle manufacturers have made rifles, like CZ 452 and CZ 453, that have variants with an 11 mm dovetail for European customers an
d 3/8” for American customers. That is why we are comparing these two dovetail types.

Except for finish, the receiver used on the 452 Farewell Edition and the 452 American are the same and use the same 3/8" dovetail grooves (see the CZ chart below). Depending on caliber, other 452s and 453s have 11mm dovetails. This has contributed to confusion. The 455 and 457 series all have 11mm dovetails.
