I ordered one too, was told there was minor cracking in the palm swell and forend. I'm pretty handy with small wood repairs so hopefully it'll turn out to be a good deal!
My 'warrenty return'JW20 came today,the stock is cracked at the wrist(which I knew)but it looks to be very fixable,likely some epoxy and clamping it will work just fine.We might put a layer of Kevlar inside to strengthen it,or another option would be to wrap the wrist with para cord.But for $90 it's a heck of a deal....

Got one on the way!
I got one for a friend,the crack is on the side and bottomof the wrist.He plans on using epoxy and clamping it,maybe reinforcing it with a layer of Kevlar on the inside,then sanding and polishing the outsides.Do a good job and I doubt it will even be noticeable.The crack does not extend into the checkering. Worst case scenario would be to epoxy and wrap with para cord,maybe not classy but very functional,but hey,for $90 it's not bad....and remember,when they're gone,they're gone...(you think I'm not kicking myself for not buying the JW 21 lever action 94/22 knockoff?)

Sorry,can't (technically challenged)but I can describe it pretty accurately,the cracks are on the bottom and side ,looks like they will come together with epoxy and clamping,and shouldn't even be noticeable after a shot of clearcoat spray ,light sanding and polishing.He hasn't done the repair yet,but says it shouldn't present a problem at all.

BTW - for those that don't know - the cracking occurs (on the Brownings, as well) from holding the butt while twisting the barrel on or off. On all brands of this model (Remington et al made copies, too) the wood is very thin at the wrist, and will crack if the butt is held while twisting the gun.
Grip the receiver & forestock instead...and always remember to pull the bolt (underneath) back 1/4" or so while twisting the barrel on or off.
