Well this past week has been like Christmas in June for me. On Monday I got a trigger tech trigger. Wednesday a Heathen Muzzle brake from Insite Arms and today a barreled action from K.S. Arms. This action is sweeeeet.very smooth. The three lug design allows for a 60 degree bolt through that is super fast with the beefy bolt nob. This action feeds from your standard AI mag.
They are also make their own pic rail with 20moa build it.

The barrel is a med Palma chambered in 6.5 Creed and threaded for a brake. K.S. is making their own barrels in house. Will have my brass and dies next week from Bullseye Sports in london. Hope to have the MDT LSSXL with the new light weight butt stock next week to.

When all said and done the only thing not canadian on this rifle will be the grip, vortex rings and razor gen 2.
Hoping this rifle weights in around 12-15lb with scope and mag. Plan to use it for PRS matches in the states and PR matchs in Ontario.

The rest of the parts came in today. Really like the fit and feel of this set up. Balances perfectly in front of the Mag. The 60 degree bolt is very fast. Will do a break in and some load testing on Thursday. Will post result.

Ryan, I'd love to get your take on going with the lssxl vs the hs3. I'll be going MDT next and have been flip flopping between the two.

Does the portion forward of the mag on the lssxl work well as a barricade stop? Or is it too sloped?

I have ran both the HS3 and Tac21 in a match. I found the mag well On the Tac worked great on the barricades. You just had to be aware of it possibly sliding up. I am thinking about machining a flat spot on the front to eliminate this issue. The reason I am going with the LSSXL over the HS3 is for weight savings and the mag well. Will write up a review for all three for PRS style shooting after I have ran the LSSXL for a few months.

I know it's wishful thinking, but I would love it if MDT would make a TAC 21 to fit this action. A great Canadian action inside my favorite Canadian chassis would be a match made in heaven.

They do its a Remington foot print

I know the foot print is the same but the side bolt release wouldn't fit and the slot that the bolt handle slides through would have to be changed due to this action being a 60 degree lift and a Remington being 90 degrees. It wouldn't take much to make it happen, I just don't think it will.

It would be some very simple machining work to make it work in a tac. My shooting partner made a Barnard fit in a tac 21. You can easily do all the mill work in under 1 hour. Will just need to paint afterwards. Depending how I like this action I plan to put one in a tac21 next.

Good to hear that, I'll be excited to see how it works out if and when that happens.
