Guys, if you you ever get a jam with your Grand Power, take a moment while you are slapping the mag to observe the trigger guard and ensure it's in the upward locked position.
At a match today, I had a awkward dash through a corridor and doorway then around a corner. I choose to keep the gun holstered and locked until just before I slowed for the first steel target.
I made the steel, but then had a jam. Tap-rack-bang turned into Tap-rack-slingshot-phuck!!!!!!!


My guess is I tried to jerk the gun out of the holster before the lock was off, and popped the trigger guard down. In "fixing" the jam, I slingshot the barrel and slide downrange.
On a positive note, the tenifer finish held up to a slide on a concrete floor.
