k31 charging clips

i have recently aquired a k31 and it is a fantastic gun, i was just wondering if anyone knows where to find those k31 charging clips? I understand they might be a little pricey, but what isn't these days.

Over here they do show up once in a while on the gun shows.They usually go for 5$ just like many other chargers.

There was a talk some time ago about some swiss company making steel(or brass?) stripper clips for K31 as oppose to original pressed cardstock/alu design.

I wonder whatever happen to that...

I found 11 of them on ebay, cost me more than they were probably worth though.

Bought mine off of Ebay. It all depends on whether the seller will ship to Canada or not as some of the US sellers view us as terrorists.

Would it be possible to use different clips as well? The cardboard ones are a pain in the ass.

They break too easily and even here in Switzerland they're getting harder to get every year.

I heard rumors that some mauser stripper clips work with a bit of tinkering

Problem with metal clips is rim diameter.
7.5x55 is .497"
Closest military round is 7.7 Japenese which is a rimmed round.
30-30 is closet, but no metal military style clips were made for it.

Wouldent happen to have a photo of the press board clips, If they are what I think they are, I may have 10 or 12 sitting in the basement.

Yep thats them on the right of your page, there are 9 in total with seven still having there ammo,1970 ball.

had the chance to buy one with dummy ammo from diopter. I prefer metal ones. They are not aftermarket.

is there no one that is making aftermarket stripper clips? its becoming a more popular gun i would think someone would reproduce them.
