K31 Clips in Calgary Area?

I've got a buddy who's a tin-basher. I wonder if he'd be willing to try and build me one or two out of sheet metal in his downtime?

"Parashooter" on the Swiss forums made a few of them for his beloved Krag 100% out of brass, exactly as the swiss chargers for his U.S. CMP shoots.

They also made metal ones for Swede Krag 1896 action for their competitions:

Any more luck with your printing and testing?

Did a number of the stripper clip style ones I linked to, along with some tweaks to the basic design. They are all too flimsy and tend to bend forward when you try to push the rounds down into the mag. Some of the problem seemed to be friction between the rough printed surface inside the clip and the cases, but the fundamental problem is the lack of rigidity of the printed materials compared to steel. Haven't tried any of the box style ones, but they may work better as the design is just inherently more rigid and doesn't rely on the material strength as much. We haven't done anything else since, I got busy building a garage and work was very busy all summer.
