As already said, the Mosin chargers CAN be made to work, but they just don't work as well as the proper cardboard chargers (why, oh why, did the Swiss design such a goofy charger when a K98 charger [in the proper sizes] would likely have worked just as well? If anyone knows, please tell me!!!!

Until I got my 10 chargers from CSC-at 6 bucks a pop BTW (it is what it is)- I used Mosin chargers. You must be careful not to shove the CHARGER into the magazine itself, just the rounds.

Protection from snow, ice, and mud.
Odd reason IMO, considering the Russians used spring steel chargers and mag pouches, and they deal with nothing BUT mud, ice, and snow 8 months out of the year. Oh well.
