Can anybody point to a retailer(s) who has a scope rail and/or muzzle brake. I'm looking for variants that do not permanently alter the rifle.

Thanks. I don 't know the rules for referring non member retail outlets so pm me if that's necessary.

I'm open to buying from members as well.

Thanks

I recently bought one of these.

It looks really high and the full length picitanny may interfere with larger scopes. I have a new cheek adjustable stock coming so I thought I'd see if I can make it work.

I currently have the offset clamp on unit and it works well however it bugs me having to make horizontal adjustments as well as vertical based on distance.

They're a site sponsor and are offering a $20 discount to CGN'ers.

Why is that? As the mount is parallel to the axis of the bore, the difference in the offset is exactly the same at 100m as it is at 1000m.

The offset is 0.750"± or 19mm to the right with the clamp-on mount.

If you sight in as normal(convergent) at 100yds, center of group impact should be 0.750"on left at 200yds, 2x the sight-in distance.
Expect groups size over two inches at 200yds. How can you judge a 3/4 inch shift in a 2 inch group?

If you sight in as normal at 200yds, center of group impact should be 0.750"on left at 400yds, 2x the sight-in distance.
Who around here, or anywhere else, is good enough to find a 0.750" shift' at 400yds in a 4 inch group?
Wind becomes a factor between 250-300m. Wind corrections are needed anyway from there on, beside the distance drop.

Borrowed illustration from "Parashooter".

Illustration is for a lefthand offset, as in the Drill and Tap mounts. View is overhead.

Then the Coriolis effect, if you are shooting in a north/south orientation will also effect side drift over very long distances with a long flight time.
It also effect drop in a east/west orientation.

It must have been me pulling my shots but after sighting in at 100 and moving to 200 I had to make a minor horizontal adjustment to hit POA again. Could have been wind, the tide, or solar flares in space. I don't know. This is just my experience.
