Fairly new to shooting, had a good teacher to learn some longer range basics from during the last couple years. Been trying to teach myself the rest. Need a CGN schooling with todays findings!
Did my first tall test today, (thanks Mr. Litz). Using a Kahles K318i @ 50yds. Test seemed to go great, hits were tracking on my plumb line nicely and hitting my 10” intervals beautifully.
Issue arose when trying to hit my last test target.
30” above reference shot. Math called for 54MOA adjustment. However, once I started dialling I hit mechanical stop at 52.75 MOA.
Kahles boasts a whopping 103MOA of total elevation travel. So I’m curious, if I’ve set my zero and zero stop is engaged. Should I expect more travel? Or am I zeroed somewhere in the middle of the total elevation range?

p.S. with the amount of elevation I have at my disposal right now, I could theoretically hold Center at over 1200yds… which is plenty far enough for my weak skills!
