All this chat about the K98 rifle has led me to take a sick day and post some of my accessories. Nothing rare or exciting, but I encourage you guys to post yours as well. Everything here I brought back from Eastern Europe over the years, so everything has seen some service time. Thanks for looking :)
Managed to collect matching examples of k98 bayonets from the years 1936-1944 (have doubled up on the 43, can't count I guess). The 1935 and 1945 still elude me.

And a few random markings, nothing rare.

And an original wartime k98 manual.

And finally some cleaning kits, all are complete and marked, in varying condition.

Great bayonet collection Joe.... :)

I have a bunch of K98k bayonets that came with rifles and since I don't collect bayonets, I'll rummage through them the next time I get into the vault and see if I have a 1935 or 1945 to help round out your collection...

Regards,
Doug

Thanks Doug, I appreciate how much effort you put toward the milsurp community. The 45 is a scarce code, that's for sure. The 35 is no slouch either.

Great collection of accessories Joe! I really like the bayonet collection!

I tend to spend all my milsurp money on rifles and don't have any accessories. One of these days I'll start to purchase some bayonets for my K98k's.

Thanks JB, I couldn't afford to collect bayonets today. These were quite common and affordable 20 some years ago, especially in Europe. At the same time, anything "German" was going for crazy prices here, and many items have actually gone down in price. Still, glad I bought them then, and not now.
