K98 Dou 42

Got this a little while ago. Just went over it today to get a few pictures of it. Its a Dou 42, blueing is almost all gone except for what the wood is covering, cocking piece looks to be an armorers replacement. Anyway here are the pics, not the best but just wanted to get a few taken.

That's a really great looking old rifle. Lots of history in that old war horse. Is the bore good???

I know a lot of people that prefer them looking like that in comparison to one that looks factory fresh.

This was asked on the other forum but I'll ask here as well, is there a waffenamt or makers code on the firing pin?

I like the armorers spare cocking piece. Very cool.
