ammo on the rifle

There is a little leather pouch attached to the rifle with two cartridges. Was this a military thing or an aftermarket? If it was milspec whats it called and where can a guy find one?

That's not a military pouch issued with the K98k from any country I'm aware of. Probably an aftermarket hunting accessory.

Claven is right....That's for sure a german hunting accesory. No question about it.

The follow up on this one. My buddy went to see the rifle. Everything you guys said turned out to be true. It is nothing but a bubba, and a bad one at that. None of my hopes materialized.
