Seen pics of that one before, it was dug out of the ground but I forget where. Eastern front if I recall.

I think I found the add on the EE.

WWII German K98 Mauser 8mm, Matching, MMR142006RT . Serial # 44345h . The Karabiner 98 Kurz is often abbreviated Kar98k, K98, or K98k. While it is widely known as an 8mm the actual caliber is 7.92x57mm. This is a BYF-43 (Mauser) It is stamped with the “eagle 135” proof. It has a bayonet lug. The cleaning rod is correct. The bore is present, and shows honest wear. The front sight is hooded. The graduated rear sight is matching. The safety is factory mismatched numbered 4343. Some of the parts are oxidized. This K98 has the bolt guide. The overall metal finish is 50-60% original. The leather sling is has some surface wear. It is still flexible and pliable. Glass on scope is clear, with a few scratches. Beautiful texture on stock.

Take a close look at the angle of the scope to the axis of the bore.

That rig has a lot of MOA built into it.

Interesting, thanks for posting.
