K98 Trigger guard ?????

Hi Guys

I have a question for a long time about trigger guard on a K98.

What is the time line for a stamp one or a milled one ????? witch one was use first on a K98 I'm looking to buy a K98 for a long time but it seem they have all the wrong one install especially on RC K98

Prototype rifles of the stamped parts type exist in 42. But stamped bands and floorplate/triggerguard show up widely in 43. More from certain makers. Dou43 and dot show lots of early usage. There is no phase out for milled parts though. They are produced and used up until factories stop production in 1945.

RC are always just total mismatches, 50/50 chance you get the right type of part. I wouldnt worry about it on an RC though.
