KAC BUIS Question

Not as far as I know - I have seen the two different versions while at KAC (of the 300M BIS) and all have the polymer "zeroing" insert.

The KAC600m had a special run for NAVSOF that had the enlarged hole and insert.

Actually I got it from a friend and trusted source, this copy is excellent, not a Marui cheapie, but it does not have a peel back aperture, my friend got it from a very respectable gun shop in Edmonton. He has since without question refunded my money and I am sure will take it up with the shop. As I stated this is a very good copy and it is not the first time there have been knock offs, or should I bring up the old switcharoo that was pulled with the KAC RAS a couple of years back. Anyways I'm not too proud to admit that I could have gone on using this forever, it is simply an emotional barrier at this point. Kevin, I've seen and played with Troy Ind. through work and truth be told of all the BIS systems I get to play with the KAC for me is the nicest, simplest and most intuituve. It is also one of the few that zeros without excessive windage issues. I would if possible like to have a KAC 300M or as a second choice the KAC 600M BIS. Failing that I find the cut carry handle to work the best. Seeing as I am currently deployed as PSD on convoy duty to the local elementary school and the Safeway Deli and occasionaly Rogers video I can get by without a BIS for the duration of this duty. I'll wait for KAC.

A LOT of KAC items in Canada are counterfit

If the items are touted as NIB and the shop in question did not buy them from R.Nicholls (the only KAC dealer in Canada that will sell to civilians) then odds are it was 1) Stolen from the CF (a HUGE issue in Edmonton with M4 RAS's stolen from 3 PPCLI's RQ, by a since released Cocaine addict) 2) Airsoft.

I'll send you one when I can...
