It comes with a flat piece and stub piece that you can switch. Just like the MIAD.

The rail has a built in front sight post that you can flip up.

Sinasta beat me to it, but KAC used the URX style rail on that carbine with a Built in front sight. Its is an extremely slick system that give the carbine very clean lins. This is the similar style of rail (only for an SR-25 type gun).
