Not being a machine-gunner, nor overly versed in the theory of Machine-gun fire, I'm going to stray out of my lane and suggest that it looks like a handy package that, if reliable, might be a good option.
Lemme see what I can see from the pics...
-QC Barrel
-integrated rail on the upper and quad rail on the handguards.
-upper sight rail on rear of receiver is not connected to the top cover, so no loss of zero issues (a la C-9/M-249)
-Some parts commonality with M-16 family (look at the trigger group)
-Compact
-550 RPM probably increases controllability in FA fire (remember the BAR from WWII? Had a ROF of 550 RPM too....)
-No integrated bipod, add a couple of pounds to the weight to factor that in.
-Sight line *appears* compatible with M-16 sights, so standard M-16 type optics and iron sight options should work.
*shrug*
I'm outta my lane, but there's some stuff I noted on it. I'll defer to the experts, but hey, it's a lot of gun in a small package. Probably a handy car gun?
