I guess the non chromed and non dimpled 20" barrel can do a wee bit better sometimes...

I played with some different ammo's and shot some worse groups...
If I had more time today I would have liked to shoot 10 plus groups with each type of ammo, rather than two.

FYI I have a call into DDTC to discuss the export issues since our guns are not 7.62mm chambered, but .308 Win for the Chrome lined, and .308 KAC II for the non chrome lined.

I personally think the SR-15 E3 IWS is the best AR out there -including the H&K 416 and everything in between...

I like them both; they're each unique in their own way. Mark @Questar hooked me up with an SR-15 E3 IWS not that long ago and I was really impressed with the quality and weight (the thing is ridiculously light). The only minor gripe I have is the loctite on everything...

What locktite are you referring to?

nice groups, too bad they weren't in the middle of the target.

what?

ok I'm jealous I admit it.

Kevin... the barrels don't appear to have calibre markings (at least our SR-25 EM Carbines do not have any calibre marked on the barrels)... the only markings we can find are the "7.62MM" engraved on the receiver and that's the potential problem.

The other problem is the website... the Knights website currently shows the SR-25 EM series as having a calibre ".308 (7.62NATO)" and that is exactly what State Department is saying they won't accept... so convincing them that the website advertising is wrong and that the engraving on the receiver is not accurate, that is going to be somewhat challenging.

I hope you are successful but right now we're not optomistic that we can continue to export these rifles under the restrictions applied to our last permit.

Mark

I have our Engineering Drawings that show the barrel chambering...

I am not sure if I will have any luck, but I am trying for you guys, and for Australians (they recently are allowing Semi-Auto's for people licensed to shoot Roo's)

dude that's actually damn impressive, knowing that you were just testing ammo for groups, they pretty much all shot the same horizontally, except the Remington. Any idea why it went right a bit? Winds? or is this on an indoor range? but yeah, I'm simply jealous. I should've bought an SR25 yeaaaaars ago when TSE had them. now they are just out of my payrate, unless you guys want some team shooters from Canada...........

<mutter> Aussies don't deserve them send a couple the way of us Kiwi's ;-). Though I have to admit I'm probably one of the few that both desire and could afford one.
