Kadet on Pre-B

I tried a buddies Kadet kit today, on my '87 CZ75. I want to get one, so I was disappointed that the slide would not return to battery by itself. It would go with a slight tap though. Any ideas on exactly what needs to be filed down or modified to accommodate an older frame? Thanks for any help.

In the instruction book (also available on line) there were a couple drawing that had several points to possibly be filed. I just got one with my new Shadow and was a bit apprehensive (as it said a smithy had to do it), but lucked out I guess in that I only had to file the small portion of the slide rail on the stationary part of the slide. That's about a 7mm-ish bit of rail.

Check the Kadet gun manual on-line it has the adapter stuff in the back. They are supposed to work on all of the 75 85 with no problem.
