So just wondering if anyones bought this new optic and what theyre first impressions are. Am I the only crazy BASTAXD to put one on a rimfire??? Im super impressed so far and dont see the admiration diminishing. The glass is , well Kahles, so no complaints. My only regret was its not available in MOA. Yeah you got me im frkin OLD, but still skyward haha. The clicks are awesome and the huge numbers on the elevation dial are big enough that even I can see them!! Im Lovin this scope. Thanks and a big shout out to Robbie at SHOOTING WAREHOUSE. This guy is a step back into the Jurassic period of customer relations!!! IT AINT GETTIN ANY BETTER.IMG_0524[1].jpg

Thats one advantage to the mil turret, easier for old eyes to read! I have a hard time reading some of my moa turrets in lower light.

The markings on the turrets are huge and I can see them very easily without glasses or squinting. The field of view will definately be an advantage when scanning for steel or whatever. So far everything is more than awesome.

I think the only downside I've read about is that there is not a ton of space on the tube for a one piece mount like a spuhr so it might be easier to set eye relief with a set of rings.

You’re correct on that! But with the increase in field of view I’m ok with quality rings. The erector housing to the start of the objective is a small chunk of real estate but I think most one piece bases will work. I’ll measure and see what the specs are. I know one member on here who had Near, one piece and the front ring had a chamfer exactly the same as the objective to gain some forward movement! Thanks 45AUTO and Jerry! Hope your both well.

It's self adhesive wrap, to protect the scope tube from scratches etc.

Exactly Mik123 . Many of the props and stages in prs matches are not the friendliest on finishes on optics or stocks/chassis. Steel chains, cattle gates, aluminum ladders, shingled rooftops etc. Just trying to add a bit of a buffer. Its a lot of money and Id like to not beat it up without at least trying to protect it. IT WAS A GOOD QUESTION DeadShot519

How many mils per rev on the elevation turret?

No, how wide the FOV is in mils when set at 10x or 20x

Published FOV are difficult to compare between manufacturers as they often provide a measurement at a certain distance at minimum and maximum magnification. It’s unusable as a metric between optics of differing mag range.

My question has nothing to do with your question.

Regarding your question, the topic was discussed in an earlier thread on CGN, though I hope the OP answers your question:

adamg, the scope has 35 mils of total travel and the turret has 10 mils per rotation. rgv, At the lowest power its 42.9 feet, 5X is 30 feet, 10X is 15 feet, 20X is 7.6 feet and 28X is 5.4 feet. All these values are at 100 yards. Recently broke my shoulder so I will check the measures in Mils when it stops raining and i get time to get behind this scope. Havent had any time behind it other than sighting in my gun with it!!

Thanks both of you.
