Top pic: Birmingham Repair Factory (BSA: the old RSAF Sparkbrook plant), Inspector 16
Rear Sight location: SC = Small Cone, not the Enlarged chamber
HV = High velocity: sights are set for the 174-grain bullet at 2440 MV
Underside of Butt: ED together = Enfield
Broad Arrow = Government property
Inspector Number 46 VIEW mark (inspection)
The "2" I don't remember
Underside of woodwork: another Broad Arrow
ED = Enfield
View Mark, can' make out Inspector number
Nose Cap: You have the EARLY type cross-screw. Later type had a much larger head and stood proud of the Cap.
Bottom pic: Stock is nice and close to the action. This rifle never had a Cut-off as the Body is not slotted for one, nor is the Cut-off Screw Hole drilled and tapped.
Hope this helps.
