Kamloops gun show

I am planning on going to the kamloops gun show this weekend to pick up a few odds and ends. My question is if I saw and decided to buy a restricted firearm I liked how does that work, with the transfer and ATT and such. Can I do the paperwork there? I'm thinking along the lines of a handgun not a rifle. I've never bought either a restricted weapon or non restricted at a show before.

Yes the CFO is there, and unless it's close to closing time, you get to take it home that day. Bring a case and trigger lock. (just in case) KD
