Kamloops Service Rifle Shoot

More info on Pistol, Service rifle & Sniper pls.
Also dates, times, how much ammo to bring, course of fire please.

Do you have any flyers?
You should have them up at Dels gun shop here in Vernon.
If we know way ahead of time, 10 or more would head up for your shoot.

One question, do you have to be a member of the BCRA to shoot this one?

We have monthly military shoots with an average turn out of 20 - 25 shooters.

Check out

We have listed all info you need to be prepared as well as photo's.

I was wrong about the date. It's the week before the BCRA match. Always intended to be a warmup for that. You do not have to be a member of BCRA to attend. I can email flyers to the Vernon Club. Tony C comes all the time to the match, I'm sure he mentions it. I have seen him in some of your Vernon Match pictures.
The matches always start at 1000, giving those traveling time. Service Rifle is 65 rds, plus whatever you think you'll need for the falling plates. Pistol is 120 rounds. Sniper/precision rifle is also in the 60-70rd area. Sniper will be either the 13th or 14th of june. Dates still have to be confirmed with the range.

Thanks, PM me with any info & updates.

I can almost almost be sure of a good turn out from Vernon, Kelowna as we are loosing our range Dec '08 & won't have another one until Summer '09 if all goes well.

Hey Geoff, maybe we can provide a link to the KTSA website and have our match summaries there. Course of fire etc. To confirm, I will be back from the bush for the week prior, to help set up and assist you in RO duties etc. Keep up the good work.
The Major...

Kamloops Service Match has been and gone again. The turnout is borderline cancellation. 9 People for Pistol and 10 for rifle. Advertisement was at an all time high this year. Use it or loose it!

Well we did our thing again in Kamloops, only two relays and I opted not to shoot and to act as RO...It is getting a little discouraging to put on the event, bust ass to be there and set up and then run it, and not shoot. I have handed over to Geoff and he has a lot on his plate what with fire season and all. This is finally a plaintif plea to get out and shoot. Thanks to the Rangers from 100 mile and the Revelstoke Liberation Army guys that flew in by chopper... Back to lurk mode.

Wouldn't miss it for the world.
