I've got a Remington 700p that I bought from ATRS. I found that the scope was a bit high and I found myself floating my jaw bone on the stock to get a good sight picture. I decided to buy a Karsten cheek rest and install it.

Installation went very well and my groups have definitely noticed an improvement.

Dealing with Karsten directly was really great. Everything cost ~$75 CAN including shipping.

I apologize for the pictures. It's not easy photographing all black items. (Any tips on getting better photographs are definitely welcome.:D)

This is a great upgrade for those with access to a few basic hand tools. (Drill, level, and allen keys.)

Looks good all around.

For photographing black stuff, I usually find that a darker background, grey or similar is best. No flash, just lots of light, and use a tripod if you have one. :welcome:

Thanks for the tips. I'll try that next time. I definitely noticed that the pictures taken with a flash were not very good.

And yes, the monopod was bought through Wolverine. It cost me about ~$110 bucks. It connect directly to the sling attachment point on the back of the rifle.

I live in Alberta as well and would like to get one for my ruger .204. Where did you buy it?.

If you're asking about the cheek piece, I ordered it directly from Karsten. Type in karsten cheek rest in google, it's the first link that pops up. There will be contact information on the website. Karsten was amazing to deal with, he answered his emails very quickly and had the item shipped within a day of me paying up.

The link above to the monopod is correct. That's the one I bought from Wolverine.
