KCI 10/33 Glock mags... good or crap?

I only have one and it seems to work well enough. I also have 4 or 5 of the 10/17 mags and they are fine too.

I have been using them in my g19 and sub2k with no issues. Next time I see them on sale somewhere I plan to get a bunch more.

I bought three 10/17 a couple years ago (2-3) and had failures to feed, mags didnt drop free and also had rounds popping out of the magazined while shooting causing stoppages.

We bought as a group 30 magazines and it was a mix of bad to ok experience. I stick to OEM Glock mags for now. I bought 3 pmags lately, havent had time to try them out though...

I've got 2 of the 10/33 mags, 6 of the 10/17 and one glock mag.

I've put maybe a 1200 rounds down my sub2k and (other than the finish of the mag), "function-wise" I can't tell them apart.

This is a couple years ago mind you, but I bought a KCI mag for my JR Carbine and Thureon of the same caliber (take Glock mags)... absolute jammomatic with that garbage mag. Follower out of spec, round sat too high, absolute garbage. It went on the EE for free, parts or repair. Someone took it, unsure if he got it running or not.

Put in my Glock magazines and they ran like a top. I paid a little more and stocked up on genuine Glock magazines. You get what you pay for.

My 4 10/33s have had zero problems save for one not holding slide back. 10/17s are about the same ratio for the last round hold open problem I have found, one wouldn't drop free. I wouldn't run them in the shooting sports if you care about winning, however 4 mags for less than the price of an OEM magazine makes it worthwhile for range trips. Even the 10/50 works. The KCIs have been great for me. YMMV

I gave up on the them for my Theron Defence 40 carbine as it would jam all the time and glock mags do not. I noticed the follower had a higher ramp than my Glock mags. In short I managed to get 2 KCI 10/33 and 2 10/15 feed fairly reliable with a little Dremel work to get the ramp the same as my glock mags. Just my 2 cents
