KCI M 14 Mags

I bought 3 from Wolverine. Took a whole bunch of dremel work just to get one to seat. Way out of spec.

I haven't bothered to fix the remaining 2, too much messing around.

Never again.

I bought 2 of the KCI mags and they both were terrible. Rounds wouldn't retain, would jam, ect. Had to bend feed lips and it worked for a bit. Better off paying a little more and getting the Chinese ones or the Corwin Arms work awesome.

you mean you picked up 10 KCI?
in case yours have the same problem as mine, where loading 5 rounds keeps the mag from latching in, just remove the bottom lip and cut a notch in the follower. it'll go lower before hitting the rivet and will work just as good as any CMI mag.
be careful not making the mag accept 6 rounds though as you'll become a hardcore criminal.

I also ordered 10.

8 of which fit with no problems on a closed bolt. I've yet to test them with ammo.

Update: all mags fit now with a little file work, next to make them all fit in the gun loaded with 5 rounds on a closed bolt.

Just got back from the range with my five new KCI mags. Three wouldn't seat even after a lot of cajoling, and the other two were basically useless. I had to resort to reloading a single Norinco mag over and over again.

Really disappointing first purchase from Wolverine Supplies.
 
I bought one of the 5/20, not knowing what it was. Took me a good hour or so of tinkering to get it to even seat properly. Now, I'm just inserting and removing the magazine and that seems to be helping for the most part. Absolutely will not be purchasing these again. Very interested in the CTCS mags however and I'll probably place an order soon.

I bought 2 Corwin Arms mags and had them out at the range on Thursday. Initially the rifle would not feed with 5 rounds in the mag so I loaded up 4 rounds in them for a while. They loosened up after awhile and I was able to run them topped up with the 5 with no issues. Nicely made but would prefer to have them parkerized instead of the gloss black paint which is not as durable. Considering buying two more.
