Hi all, so I sold my cz 858, as I'm itching for a gun I can mount full sized optics on. I have a newer mini 30 lined up to buy, but the magazine prices and availability is the only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger on the deal. After looking through lots of threads it seems most after market magazines for them are junk, however I found a few good reviews of the KCI 30 round magazines. At $30 ea they are reasonable priced, and readily in stock at multiple retailers in Canada. So whats the word on the block about these mags? Any insight is most appreciated.

I've never had a good experience with ANY aftermarket mag for my Mini-14's. I recommend Ruger mags only; Northern Republic Magazine has some Mini-30 mags in stock. They are somewhat pricey, but worth it.
I prefer the 5/20 configuration, as they're easier to rock & lock than the small ones, and the 5/30's just seem too long for a sporting gun IMO.
