kci vz/cz mags any good?

I have only picked them up before and looked at them. I thought they were an alloy and appeared a little cheap feeling. They may also be blocked in internally and not pinned like the real ones to 5 not that that matters. In my opinion they are not milspec and from the KCI glock mags I have tend to not feed as good as the real deal. Lots of real ones around I would stick with those IMO.

Not much help but at least an opinion!
 
I haven't used them personally, but I was told to stay away from them and I have heard they do not perform as well or last as long as the regular CZ/VZ magazines. Your best bet may be to try and snag a 4 pack of CZ mags from Corwin Arms for ~$100 +shipping and tax. They're a good deal and perform well.
 
Haven't tried KCI vz mags, but have tried the Glock ones in my carbines - will never buy a KCI magazine ever again. I ended up getting the real 10/22rd extended Glock mags from Irunguns.

The original VZ58 mags are cheap and plentiful, why would you want the KCI?

$50 a magazine is a little much, but if you're need it right away and are willing to pay that price...plus tax and shipping...

You're most likely better off putting up a WTB on the EE as they come up at decent prices all the time.

Don't waste your money on the KCI's.
 
SFRC has new mag for $34.95, and they work as well as any surplus mag I've had. Zahal has surplus pinned mags as well for $28. I bought one just because I needed one last mag, and my only complaint is that it is pinned quite tightly, but it feeds alright. YMMV.
 
Had a few KCI mags for my Ruger mini-14 and Chinese SKS ,both 30 rounds pinned........no bloody good at all ,unless you want them for display purposes.....stay away.They were built badly ,misaligned,bad springs that jammed up and just el-cheapo !

I had bought these some years ago ,so perhaps the quality is better.......BUT....I doubt that very much.

Watch the EE like a hawk. There is some nice surplus Vz58 mags floating around bought on impulse from Dlask. (they were selling 4 for $80 + shipping & tax)

Sh!t... They had great deals on brand new Vz58 parts. The Czechs made many, many, MANY armours kits. The surplus isn't all gone yet.
