keep it? Colt SP1 upper

Cleaning ( the first layer) of my gun room. I found a Colt SP1 upper, complete except for BCG( skinny barrel, triangular handguards etc), pure "old school". Condition, as new. Bought it back in the 80's, just because. Any good reason to keep it? where can I find a fair value for it?

You will find fair value right here on CGN. It's worth what somebody will pay for it.
I had one I got back in the late 80's early 90's but had the bolt carrier group as well.
It sold relatively quick for around 700.00, so take it from there. There has been a bit of interest in old school AR's and M16 clones lately.

I got the whole rifle for $900 but its a bit scratched. I would keep it and get a matching lower because they are really fun, lightweight guns to shoot.
