I went coyote hunting yesterday in -36 weather and my foxpro didn't last too long even with brand new batteries. I'm just curious as to what you guys do to prevent this. I'm thinking on getting my wife to sew me a cover made of fabric and/or putting a feet warmer pad (like toasty toes) on or in the battery compartment. I'm affraid a fabric cover would block the remote signal from reaching the unit? The weird thing is that my Fox jack was still working even if it operates on the same batteries as the ecaller itself.
