keeping guns the same caliber

I look at it this way I like the same caliber for each rifle but I get something for each type of job something in semi, bolt, lever. Then I just pick which one I want to use.

No, Bang Flop is a term describing an animal that "immediately" falls (flops) when shot... on a bang flop there is zero tracking.

That is the trouble with using "Slang" It is not defined in a dictionary and so different people can have different ideas for what it means. And no one is really right.

In boxing there are "Knock-outs" where a solid punch sends a boxer to the deck and the lights are out. Sometimes a fellow catches a series of blows and goes down, gets up, goes down and cannot get up and continue. Both are "knock-outs". I reckon it is the same for "bang-flops" There are instant kills and close to instant kills. If an animal is shot and goes down while still in sight of the shooter so that they can walk right up to it, I'd call that a very desirable quick kill. I have seen this many times but I have not seen it many times with a .243.

There are "K.O's" and then there are "T.K.O's..." There are "Bang Flops" and then there are "Quick Kills..."
