There is a temptation to dedicate a page to each caliber. Don't do it. Dedicate a page to each gun. In this way you can note when a barrel gets changed or a rifle gets bedded, and see the changes above or below the line.
Good point. I do basically do one page/caliber but where I have more than one firearm of the same caliber, I do note and mark or at least differentiate between ammo loaded for each specific firearm. Some of the duplicates are, for example;
Rifles:
- Husqvarna & a Sako in 270 Win.
- Marlin 1895GS & Pedersoli Sharps in 45-70.
- Colt Python & Ruger GP 100 in 357 Mag.
- S&W 29 & Ruger Flattop in 44 Mag.
- Colt 1911, S&W 4506 & Ruger convertable in 45 ACP.
- Ruger Convertable, Ruger Vaquero in 45 LC
