Kel-tec plr 22.......good/bad ??

Its the pistol version of the su22
Simply go to the ktog forum and post your question there!
The su16 had issues with the receiver breaking. I had a good one but ammo cost forced me to sell it.
It shot well. However plastic haters will say its junk.
If you dont like plastic, dont buy any keltec!
Ive had 4 different keltecs. Love hate relationship.
It is Vault who sealed the deal for me not to buy another.
They control all keltecs in Canada. If you have an issue with the gun. You have to go through yhem. Not keltec.
Be forwarned!!!!!!!!!!
I had the su22. The pistol grip is awesome but cost is $200
!
Takedown of the SU22/plr22 is simple. Easy to clean.
Has a bolt hold open and takes ar22 mags.
Also has the largest drum mag for all 22s.
The 275 AM180 drum will work with a conversion kit.
Thus you can have a 275 drum for your pistol.

I have the PLR22 I've had it for years. Typical 22lr semi find the ammo it likes. The gun is all plastic, like all Kel Tec. I love it. Accuracy? For what it is. When you find the wright ammo it will not stop. I won't sell it. The trigger broke on it. ( the guy shooting it broke it) Vault helped me out. I put a rifle mag on mine 25 rnds of fun Do I like Kel-Tec I just bought a SU 16. Will give that a chance #### I have a High Point 995TS. A piece of ####? 2000rnds and no failures. for what its worth I like it. What other gun can you buy with that design. it is a day of fun shooting with it.

I have one. Mine is surprisingly accurate and not at all fussy about ammunition. It takes ar22 magazines and so is one of the few pistols in Canada not limited to 10 rounds. Best thing is probably the appearance. That space gun/AK look always attracts attention at the range. Biggest drawback is there's not much use for it. It's awkward to shoot one handed and two handed it feels like a carbine missing a stock (which basically it is.) I haven't had any mechanical problems with it.
