Kel-tec RBD range report

Just tried mine around 150 round , overall pretty good , had the top bolt on the rail make it way loose as well , so it a must to blue loctite that one ,

mine doesn't seem to like the metal C product mag , had some miss feed and the 5/30 i got would pop out of the magwell every shot and they faill to engage the bolt hold open as well , but no problem with the pmag m3 5/20 those run pretty good in the RDB

This gun is reloader friendly it doesn't even ding the brass at all when it eject it ,

all 3 mag fail to engage the BHO

did get the same lock back at first, dialed down the gas setting to the minimum without getting malfunction and it never did it again

I dialed mine down two clicks and its no longer locking back unless the magazine is empty.

I'm really liking this rifle! It balances nicely and is very smooth shooting. Hits a 10 plate at 200 yards easily off hand with a red dot.
Once I get the rail loctited I will put a scope on it and see how it does ... On my first outing I used a 1x4 scope and got some groups around 2 inches at 100 yards off the bench.

The downward ejection works well and I don't mind checking the chamber from the bottom.

What is the length of pull on this rifle? (trigger to buttpad)

It looks really long in pictures. But that could just be an optical illusion.

The internet says 13" but I haven't confirmed.... I'm 6'2" but I like a shorter length of pull as I try to shoot with a squared forward stance.
Length of pull is perfect for my preferences.

I got one just a few days ago, and have put about 200 rounds downrange out of it. I bought this based upon my overwhelmingly positive experience with my recent RFB purchase, and both of these guns have fulfilled their missions. i.e. to be fun to shoot. With a set of Magpul BUIS I can only do about 4MOA at 100 yards, but even a low-magnification scope cuts those groups in half. So far I have only used budget factory 55gr FMJ stuff. I rarely bother to reload for semi-auto fun blasters like this, just too lazy to pursue the brass into the weeds...but when the brass falls into a nice little 24-inch diameter circle right at my feet, I may even break that personal rule. :) I already knew that the RFB would be taking a deer soon for me; the RDB has Coyote Gun written all over it.

Apparently some folks try the bullpup concept and don't care for it; I thought it was a terrific idea before shooting one, and now I am in love. I strongly suspect my WK180 will be up for sale shortly after it arrives; the RFB and now the RDB are going to be around for awhile.

I can't find an online dealer that still has any RDB in stock right now except here ici Quebec. But I wanna buy out of province to save the additional 10% provincial sale tax...

Anyone knows where I can find one???

I believe CSC has some.
And I think you're charged tax depending on where you live, not where the product is shipped from. I'm always charged 5% in AB no matter where I buy from.
