Kel-tec RBD range report

Just bumping this thread up. Curious what everyone is running for optics. Sling setups? Preferred Handloads? More reports on accuracy. Pics?!?!?!?! I got one coming but while in camp its nice to get some motivation
 
Took mine out yesterday. But about 200+ rounds of a mix of American eagle and Chicom. Never missed a beat.

Used USGI and PMAGs, both 20 and 30 round.

At 500m (with gusty wind), using Chicom 5.56 and with an Elcan OS4 I was hitting 3-4 out 5 consistently on an IPSC sized steel plate.

So far, I have an extremely favourable impression of this rifle
 
I replaced my forend with a Life industries Raptor rail this week. It seems very solid. I put about 160 rounds of American Eagle 55gr FMJ’s through mine yesterday. It consistently shot 3” groups with this cheap ammo.
 
Is anyone shooting .556 through these?
Has anyone been able to verify if the chamber is just .223 beside simply what's stamped on it?
 
I’d say yes. It mounts really solid to 3 points and is narrower. I wasn’t fond of the original front end.
 
How are people's RDB rifles doing?

If anyone from Edmonton is interested, I would love to compare the wk180-c to the RDB at some point. I should have my wk180 relatively soon.

I have my 180 shipping this friday and the rdb around the same. I won't be out of camp for 3 more weeks so i will be watching this thread for some comparisons. The feedback o have seen so far leads me to believe the rdb is going to be more reliable. We shall see
 
Chances are good the 180 will have some minor issues to be ironed out. The RDB has been around long enough that they have refined them. It's a rifle with a lot of potential.
 
I want them both to be awesome but i am concerned about the 180 at this point. I know wolverine and kodiak will take care of these guns but I'm not a patient guy. I just want stuff to work.

Regardless, I'm excited to have these 2 guns side by side

Well at this point we have a sample of n=1 so we have to wait until more folks start reporting in. The minor issues that have been noted are exactly that, minor.
